The Indonesia Petroleum Bidding First Round announced by the Director General of Oil and Gas, Dr. Evita Herawati Legowo in the closing ceremony of the Seminar and Exhibition, The Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Thursday (20/05/2010)."The 20 (twenty) blocks of oil and gas working acreages consists of 14(fourteen)working acreages which offered through regular tender mechanism and 6(six) others through direct proposal bidding," said Dr. Evita.

The Government of Indonesia also announced 23 companies who win the Indonesian Petroleum Bidding Second Round 2009 on Friday, May 14^th 2010. The winning bidder in Indonesia Petroleum Bidding Second Round, consist of 11 (eleven) companies of regular tender and 3 (three) companies of direct proposal. 

PERTAMINA EP has offered again the Operation Cooperation Batch III for 4 exploration areas and 2 production fields on December 16th 2009. The exploration areas consist of: Tebat Agung - South Sumatra,Tanjung Lontar – South Sumatra, West Jambi and West Tanjung in South Borneo. Meanwhile the production fields are: Sambidoyong – West Java, and Serang Deep Zone in North Sumatra.
