The Indonesia Petroleum Bidding First Round announced by the Director General of Oil and Gas, Dr. Evita Herawati Legowo in the closing ceremony of the Seminar and Exhibition, The Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Thursday (20/05/2010).

"The 20 (twenty) blocks of oil and gas working acreages consists of 14(fourteen)working acreages which offered through regular tender mechanism and 6(six) others through direct proposal bidding," said Dr. Evita.A total of 14 (fourteen) working acreages of oil and gas properties offered through regular tenders, namely Sokang (East Natuna Sea), South Sokang (East Natuna Sea), South East Baronang (West Natuna Sea),Nias (North Sumatra), Sunda Strait IV (Sunda Strait), the Sunda Strait III (Sunda Strait), the Sunda Strait II (Sunda Strait), South Kangean II (East Java), South Kangean I (East Java), South West Makassar (South Sulawesi), North Bone (South Sulawesi),Wokam I (Papua), Wokam II (Papua) and Digul (Papua).

The 6 (six) working acreages offered through direct bidding, namely North West Natuna (Riau), North Sokang (Riau), Titan (East Java), Bone (South Sulawesi), Onin (Papua) and North Arafura (Papua).

For CBM blocks, a total of 4 (four) blocks offered through direct bidding, namely Sijunjung (West Sumatra), West Kutai (East Kalimantan), East Kutai (East Kalimantan) and Kapuas (South Kalimantan).The rest, as many as 5 (five) CBM blocks offered through regular tender, which are Kampar (Riau), Pelalawan (Riau), Penajam Sand I (East Kalimantan), Penajam Sand II (East Kalimantan) and Kedang (East Kalimantan).

For Oil & Gas blocks and CBM blocks offered through direct bidding, it could begin to retrieve the documents, starting from June 30 until August 13, 2010 and the document can be submit not later on the date of August 18, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. to 14:30 pm.

Meanwhile, for oil & gas block and CBM blocks offered through regular tenders, can begin to retrieve the documents on June 30, 2010 until October 27, 2010. Documents are submitted not later than October 29, 2010 at 9:00 to 14:30 pm. Please download the PDF version in this link: Bidding Schedule.
