T he Government of Indonesia also announced 23 companies who win the Indonesian Petroleum Bidding Second Round 2009 on Friday, May 14th 2010. The winning bidder in Indonesia Petroleum Bidding Second Round, consist of 11 (eleven) companies of regular tender and 3 (three) companies of direct proposal.
A. Direct Proposal in Indonesian Petroleum Bidding First Round 2009 has awarded by 11(eleven) companies for 11 (eleven) working area offered. It consist of Puri Block operated by PT. Sargas Vega, Sakakemang Block by Cakra Nusa Darma (SKKMG) Ltd, Sunda Strait I Block operated by Consortium Komodo Energy LLC-Niko Resources (Overseas XI) Ltd, North Madura Block operated by Consortium PT Baruna Recovery Energy-AWE Ltd, Mandala Block operated by Consortium PT Bumi Hasta Mukti – Fortune Empire Group Ltd, Karapan Block operated by PT Leogryph Indonesia, Long Hubung Long Bagun Block operated by PT. Kalisat Energy Nusantara, Malunda Block operated by PTT Exploration and Production Public Co., Ltd, South Mandar Block operated by Consortium Talisman (Asia) Ltd-PTT Exploration and Production, Sadang operated by Consortium Talisman (Asia) Ltd-PTT Exploration and Production, South Sageri Block operated by Consortium Talisman (Asia) Ltd-PTT Exploration and Production. B. Regular Tender in Indonesian Petroleum Bidding First Round 2009 has awarded by 3 (three) company for 3 (three) blocks from 12 (twelve) working acreage offered. It consist of Cendrawasih Bay II Block operated by Consortium Repsol Exploracion S.A – Niko Asia Ltd, Cendrawasih Bay III Block operated by Consortium Black Gold Ventures LLC - Repsol Exploracion S.A, Cendrawasih Bay IV Block operated by Consortium Black Gold Ventures LLC - Repsol Exploracion S.A. The Director of Upstream Business Development of Oil and Gas Directorate, Mr. A Eddy Hermantoro said the total investment commitment of the awarded 14 (fourteen) companies would be made for exploration activities for the first three years reached US$ 146 million consisting of geological and geophysical studies worth US$ 13.15 million, two-dimension seismic survey on a 9,350 kilometer worth US$ 15.45 million, three-dimension seismic survey on a 4,350 square kilometer area US$ 28.5 million and drilling of 8 (eight) exploration wells worth US$ 75.5 million.The government would also receive directly US$ 14.65 million in contract signing bonuses on the projects.
